The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for various tasks within the FP&A group, including developing the annual budget, forecasting the business on a monthly cadence, and driving in-depth analysis to support decision-making across the organization. This will be a fast-paced, dynamic role that offers exposure to the holistic FP&A function and will be an extremely visible role to executive leadership in our beautiful Wakefield, MA office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process
• Partner with department stakeholders to track and refine annual operating plans
• Prepare and present monthly P&L variance analysis for each department stakeholder
• Analyze and transform data into a comprehensible and concise narrative for leadership
• Provide business analysis and financial support on internal operations and strategic initiatives
• Partner with department stakeholders to ensure optimal cost procurement and contract review
• Develop processes that drive efficiency and profitability through business unit and client lens
• Prepare ad hoc analysis for executive leadership
• Collaborate with accounting to understand close cadence, purchasing processes and finance systems maintenance
• Oversee work of Financial Analyst including training, mentoring, and reviewing all work processes.

Skills and Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products
• Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills
• Working knowledge of GAAP, as applied to financial reporting standards
• Experience with the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Strong interpersonal skills – comfortable partnering with business stakeholders and executive leadership
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment that requires rapid learning, multitasking and prioritization of deliverables
• Leadership experience mentoring or training a fellow colleague.
• Exposure to NetSuite and Adaptive Insights a plus
