About the team

Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.

What you'll be doing

The Fraud Analytics Manager will, in support of Alloy’s Client Success team, develop best practices for onboarding and transaction monitoring services Alloy offers. She will work directly with clients to help them detect, fight, and mitigate fraud. Additionally, they will work with Alloy's product team to suggest improvements in the products to help clients achieve higher account opening rates and lower fraud losses. They will use her knowledge and skills in the areas of Statistics and Data Science to perform these tasks:

-- Gather data on fraud cases affecting Alloy clients and own end-to-end analytics workflow.
-- Evaluate new external or internal data to identify fraud trends pertaining to identity risk, device risk, and transaction risk.
-- Use SQL or Python to perform data analysis and statistical analysis including but not limited to hypothesis testing, likelihood ratio tests, and analysis of variance. She will also deploy advanced machine learning techniques such as random forest classifier, bootstrap, clustering analyses to segment customers into high, medium, and low risk tiers. In general, she will work with large datasets to uncover insights.
-- Monitor competition and trends in the banking and fintech security software sector. Communicate new trends in fraud attacks to Alloy clients via a variety of mediums such as Dashboards, blog posts, emails, conference calls and empower sales team with the knowledge to communicate improvements in workflows and best practices to clients.
-- Develop and execute Alloy’s sales enablement strategies and plans, to ensure that our sales team has the market knowledge and resources they need to be successful (e.g., slides, scripts, battlecards, objection handling, website content).
-- Map out the fraud risk management strategies for the customer lifecycle.
-- Work with the content marketing manager to develop relevant content to reach a wide audience.
-- Continuously research and refine our customers’ personas—including determining demand characteristics on a granular level and identify potential new customers.
-- Perform industry research and translate learning so the rest of the business can take action on them.
-- Perform win/loss analyses and make recommendations based on the findings.

Who we’re looking for

Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related field, plus 3 years of work experience as Senior Manager; Manager, Portfolio Risk Strategy; and Manager Intern, Portfolio Risk Strategy.

Wage Range

$175,000/year - $206,000/year
