About the team
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.
What you’ll be doing
Leading within the Data team, collaborating closely with Data Science and Engineering, this role will expose you to a mix of client and internal projects. You’ll be working on business-critical problems directly tied to company revenue and shape how our clients view and understand their use of Alloy. More specifically, you’ll be helping us build out data analysis:
Leading team of analysts as they deliver on analytical needs of the business and our clients
- Organize and prioritize incoming requests for client-facing analytics
- Monitor team bandwidth and timelines, and manage client expectations
- Identify opportunities for optimization and automation
- Help design system for data observability
Implementing, and improving accuracy, reliability, and visibility around client usage and billing:
- A deep investigation into client usage data to identify missed revenue
- Client-level impact assessments of changes to billing/pricing strategies
- Monitoring and alerting for the introduction of new data gaps
- Support for the monthly billing cycle
Designing, supporting and extending our client data/insights needs:
- Enhancements to regular client-facing data insights (e.g. quarterly business reviews)
- Improvements to reusability and scalability for serving client data/analytical requests
- Standardization of tracking and reporting for client testing/experimentation
Role Qualifications
At least 4-5 years experience in real world production with: Core SQL (selects, joins, inserts), Scripting/automation with python, familiarity with airflow, core data visualization, automation and graphing techniques
Experience working cross-functionally with business teams
Excellent attention to detail, both in communication and data
Demonstrated ability to tell a story with data, through presentations with stakeholders, either internal or external
Experience leading/mentoring/owning projects end to end

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for highly targeted geographies: 155k-175k
