This role will report to the Sr. Director of Operations and work closely with the CTO, VP of Product, and P&E leaders. The Product Operations Manager will be critical in building out the processes and insights that help support a high-performing product engineering organization and build a world-class product.
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.

The Product Operations Manager will support all things product & engineering operations, working both tactically and strategically to ensure everything runs smoothly, while driving improvements in the way we work.
We’re looking for a structured, data-driven builder who excels at relationship building, problem solving, and helping teams navigate the change that comes with scaling.
As Product Operations Manager, you will:
- Lead the strategy and operations of Product & Engineering Ops at Alloy
- Own team rhythms, rituals, and operational models (offsites, quarterly planning, All Hands, etc)
- Improve common product development and operational processes and tooling, including:

- Roadmap planning
- Facilitate effective collaboration between Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
- Establish mechanisms for measuring product and engineering success and impact, including analytics dashboards and reporting systems
- Maintain launch motions that allow us to ship with confidence and monitor impact
- Create cross-team visibility that drives cross-functional alignment
- Work cross-functionally with partners in Technical Solutions to support various operational needs and build relationships.
Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate has:
- 5+ years of product, product ops, engineering, or operations background.
- A track record of building processes and programs from 0 to 1 and scaling them thoughtfully.

- Experience building and managing systems and processes to facilitate internal operations.
- Enjoys being scrappy and moving fast, while continuing to iterate for continual improvement.
- Experience as a bridge builder who connects strategy to execution and creates alignment across teams. You are a problem seeker comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at creating structure where none exists.
- Great communication and relationship-building skills.
- A love of building collaborative, high-performing cultures.
Candidates for this role should have:
- Strong knowledge of product and engineering principles, operations management, and process improvement methodologies
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Proficient in using tools such as JIRA, Pendo, Jellyfish, and Notion
- Proven problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment
Nice to haves:
- Experience building metrics reporting capabilities for product & engineering teams
