Role/Purpose:

This position is responsible for coding, deploying, and debugging our Django/React web platforms. The focus of this role is primarily frontend building out react pages that are served from our Django back end.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 2+ years of experience in Web Development in a professional setting
• Have solid experience with front end frameworks and state management with or similar to React.js / Redux
• 2+ years of experience with the Django web framework (Experience with Python-based web applications would be taken into consideration)
• Have a strong understanding of relational databases
• Have experience with modern JavaScript coding, open-source ecosystem, and development practices
• Have a passion for providing the best customer experience, and is comfortable optimizing for accessibility and performance
• Are comfortable working in an environment based on Agile development methodologies and DevOps principles
• Take initiative to collaborate with others in order to find solutions to the team's problems
• Ability to develop applications using a test-driven approach in Django/Python
• Expert-level experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of SQL (writing and optimizing queries)
• Experience with REST, JSON, etc
• Able to solve problems in a simple, neat, and organized way
• Knowledge of web performance and speed/memory optimization techniques
