About the team and the role:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver comprehensive testing services for a range of FIS Treasury products and be part of "migration to Cloud" projects. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your automated testing expertise to enhance the quality of innovative financial solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Test Strategy Definition: Develop comprehensive test strategies, covering GUI and API tests for Web applications.

• Technological Expertise: Utilize your expertise in technologies such as Python, Robot Framework, and Selenium to engineer automated testing approaches, and in technologies such as REST API’s and other required to oversee and support migration to microservices infrastructure.

• Client Engagement Management: Assist in managing client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of testing services.

• New Product Testing: Contribute to the testing efforts for new products, including tools assessment and ensuring the application of best practices.

What you bring:

• Experience: Proven experience in automated testing, with a focus on GUI and API tests for both Desktop and Web applications (3+ years).

• Technological Proficiency:

• Understanding OOP principles and proficiency in one of: Python, Robot Framework, JAVA, or Selenium, is required

• Proficiency in one of: Docker, Kubernetes, Redis

• Client-Focused: Ability to understand client needs, propose effective solutions, and ensure successful delivery of testing services.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal development teams.

• Tool Assessment: Experience in assessing and implementing testing tools to enhance the automated testing process.

• Innovation: A proactive approach to engineering new and innovative automated testing approaches.

• Experience in microservices infrastructure
