About PactFi

Private asset markets (PE, Private Credit, VC, Real Estate) have 10x to 9.8T in AUM over the past decade and are projected to grow to $17T in the next five years. However, digital infrastructure has not kept pace, with most of the market operating predominantly in error-prone, internal-only software solutions.

PactFi provides secure, end-to-end, operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. Our web-based application brings together all parties involved in such a transaction to more efficiently allocate capital, complete KYC, share documents, manage funds flow, and more. The platform is secured to a bank-grade standard, and we have received our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation.

PactFi was developed in close partnership with two of the industry's largest players, both of whom represent the top 3 players in the private credit space by both size (AUM) and deal activity.

Role Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This person will work closely with our DevSecOps team to manage company IT infrastructure, user provisioning, network systems, and compliance readiness.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to grow their technical skills, work across multiple systems (Mac, Windows, Linux), and contribute directly to the security and operational excellence of a fast-growing fintech.

Responsibilities

  • IT
    • Provide IT support for company employees and maintain/troubleshoot company assets.
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes — including setting up user accounts, provisioning machines, and deactivating access for departing employees.
    • Manage and maintain employee devices (macOS and Windows 11) and software configurations.
    • Oversee machine lifecycle: track inventory, trade out and repurpose devices, and manage equipment resale lists.
  • Office
    • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, SAML integrations, and Office suite management.
    • Manage vendor and employee accounts across SaaS platforms.
    • Maintain and segment office network infrastructure (Ubiquiti or similar), including VLANs, firewalls, and network segregation.
    • Coordinate with ISP vendors to ensure reliable office connectivity.
  • Compliance
    • Support SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance initiatives — including gathering evidence around IT systems, device management, and security controls.
    • Assist in the rollout of endpoint protection, MDM policies, and VPN configurations (OpenVPN or similar).
    • Contribute to documentation of IT policies and standard operating procedures.
    • Track tasks and issues via Jira.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of macOS and Windows 11 administration.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts (VLANs, subnets, firewalls, OSI model).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft administration tools (Intune, Entra, SAML, Office).
  • Experience with VPN configuration and remote access solutions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized — able to track inventory and follow compliance processes.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into automation, scripting, and systems management.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Linux experience preferred
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python.
  • Exposure to Ansible automation.
  • Experience using Jira for IT or project tracking.
  • Interest or prior exposure to SOC 2 Type 2 / ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • CompTIA A+ certification.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + equity.
  • Healthcare coverage.
  • Tremendous growth opportunities and autonomy to take ownership of key IT processes.
