About PactFi

Private asset markets (PE, Private Credit, VC, Real Estate) have 10x to 9.8T in AUM over the past decade and are projected to grow to $17T in the next five years. However, digital infrastructure has not kept pace, with the majority of the market operating
predominantly in error-prone, internal-only software solutions.

PactFi provides secure, end-to-end, operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. Our web-based application brings together all parties involved in such a transaction to more efficiently allocate capital, complete KYC, share documents, manage funds flow, and more. The platform is secured to a bank-grade standard and we have received both our SOC 2 Type II attestation and our ISO 27001 certification.

PactFi was developed in close partnership with several of the industry's largest players by both size (AUM) and deal activity.

Job Description

We’re growing quickly and are looking for a driven Recruiter to join our team and take ownership of full-cycle recruiting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, is comfortable with ambiguity, and knows how to build strong pipelines across a range of functions, including niche and senior-level roles.

You will partner closely with hiring managers, founders, and interviewers to shape a thoughtful, candidate-centric hiring experience. As the go-to recruiter, you will help define and scale our talent acquisition function, bringing the flexibility, hustle, and structure needed to support our next stage of growth at an early-stage startup.

This is a hybrid role based in the NYC metro area.

Expectations

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across PactFi: Lead hiring efforts for roles across all levels and departments, including specialized and senior-level positions
  • Proactively source and build pipelines: Use creative outreach and sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates and maintain a healthy top-of-funnel
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and teams: Collaborate with stakeholders to scope roles, define hiring plans, and ensure alignment throughout the process
  • Leverage data to inform and improve recruiting: Use metrics to track pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, and guide strategic decisions with hiring managers and leadership
  • Deliver a thoughtful, candidate-centric experience: Ensure every candidate has a consistent and engaging experience that reflects our values and culture
  • Run structured, competency-based interviews: Facilitate effective and fair evaluation processes, ensuring feedback loops are clear and decisions are timely
  • Continuously improve and scale our recruiting process:
    Optimize tools and workflows to support efficient, scalable hiring as the company grows

Experience

  • Startup recruiting experience: 4 to 6 years of recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth environments, with the ability to operate autonomously
  • Functional breadth and depth: Experience hiring for senior-level and niche roles across functions like Product, GTM, and Engineering
  • Sourcing and outreach strength: Proven ability to engage passive talent through creative and effective outreach strategies
  • Process ownership and organization: Comfortable managing multiple open roles independently, with a strong sense of structure and follow-through
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills: Able to build trust and alignment with hiring managers, team leads, and founders alike
  • NYC-based and hybrid-ready:
    Located in the NYC metro area and available for in-person collaboration as part of a hybrid team
