Senior Product Manager at Hatz AI

About The Role

Hatz AI is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AI-native platform — products that are actively reshaping how Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and small-to-medium businesses harness the power of artificial intelligence. You'll sit at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and real-world customer needs, working side-by-side with a tight-knit team of exceptional engineers and designers to ship products that matter. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives on turning ambiguity into momentum and complexity into clarity.

What You'll Do

  • Define and drive the product vision — Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for Hatz AI's core products, making bold prioritization decisions that balance near-term execution with long-term differentiation
  • Lead high-velocity product cycles — Partner closely with engineers and designers to move fast and ship with intention, maintaining a weekly release cadence without sacrificing quality or user experience
  • Be the voice of the customer — Conduct ongoing discovery with MSPs and SMB users, synthesizing insights into crisp problem statements and translating them into elegant, intuitive product experiences that abstract away technical complexity
  • Apply AI deeply and deliberately — Stay current with emerging LLMs, AI research, and industry trends; evaluate new capabilities (prompting strategies, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, evals) and identify where they create genuine, durable product value
  • Drive cross-functional alignment — Rally engineers, designers, and stakeholders around shared goals with clarity and urgency, ensuring the team always knows what they're building, why it matters, and what success looks like
  • Balance intuition with evidence — Use data, user feedback, and principled product judgment together — knowing when to run an experiment and when to just make the call
  • Shape how we build — Contribute to the evolution of Hatz AI's product management practices, helping establish processes, frameworks, and culture that scale as the company grows
  • Prototype and iterate rapidly — Use modern design and prototyping tools to explore ideas quickly, communicate concepts visually, and collaborate fluidly in shared design environments

Required

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of product management experience or adjacent product-building experience (e.g., founding engineer with heavy product ownership, growth PM, or technical program management)
  • BA/BS in a technical, analytical, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Fluency with core AI/LLM concepts including prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model evaluation — and the practical judgment to translate these capabilities into reliable, user-facing products
  • Proven ability to lead small, cross-functional teams toward ambitious goals with urgency and a strong bias toward action
  • Sharp prioritization instincts — comfort operating in environments where everything feels important and the ability to cut through noise to focus on what moves the needle
  • Proficiency with modern prototyping and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Notion, Linear, or equivalents)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — including the ability to tell a clear, compelling story to engineers, executives, and customers alike

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered products from 0→1 or scaling them through meaningful growth stages
  • Comfort in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments with frequent product releases and an appetite for iteration
  • "Vibe coding" familiarity — you've experimented with AI-assisted development tools or no-code/low-code environments to prototype ideas yourself
  • Experience in the MSP, IT services, or SMB software space — you understand the operational realities of these customers
  • Scrappy, resourceful, get-it-done energy — you don't wait for permission or perfect conditions; you figure it out
