Description

Foundation Source is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team and help bring our brand to life across digital, web, and print channels. This role plays a key part in maintaining a consistent, polished look and feel while translating ideas and content into thoughtful, visually compelling designs.

The ideal candidate is both creative and reliable — someone who enjoys hands-on design work, values clear guidelines and systems, and takes pride in producing high-quality work that supports real business goals. You’ll combine artistic sensibility with strong attention to detail, solid design fundamentals, and a proactive, execution-focused mindset.

This role is well suited for designers who enjoy craft, consistency, collaboration, and getting things done.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Design & Production (90%)

  • Partner closely with the Creative Director and Marketing team to design on-brand digital and marketing collateral that supports campaign and business objectives
  • Produce a wide range of assets, including tear sheets, white papers, PDFs and e-books, emails, web pages, social graphics, presentations, and educational materials
  • Work within — and thoughtfully extend — established templates and brand systems using InDesign, Canva, Figma, HubSpot, and Microsoft tools
  • Apply best practices for file setup, versioning, and production to ensure assets are ready for deployment
  • Research and source visuals that strengthen storytelling across marketing channels
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and help turn concepts into polished, usable designs
  • Maintain organized digital assets, templates, and libraries to support efficiency and consistency
  • Stay engaged with Foundation Source’s mission, services, and the evolving philanthropy technology landscape
  • Support email campaigns and marketing initiatives within HubSpot

Product Design Support (10%)

  • Occasionally collaborate with the Product Experience and UI/UX teams to support new product features and applications
Requirements
  • 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or related field strongly preferred; portfolio required
  • 3–5 years of agency and/or corporate design and brand experience, or equivalent combination of strong education, relevant training/certifications, and an exceptional portfolio
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience designing emails, websites, and landing pages with attention to UX and UI principles
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and color theory
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within established systems and guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative working style
  • Experience with motion graphics, animation, or illustration is a plus
  • Adobe, Figma, or HubSpot certifications are a bonus
