Description

The Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining a positive, high quality, customer-service focused relationship with an assigned group of Gift Administration and Endowment Sub -accounting client accounts administered by the Gift Administration Associates.

Gift Administration & Endowment Sub-accounting Client Inquiries(10%).

  • Handle client concerns in a positive manner, providing alternative solutions to meet or exceed client needs.
  • Introduce clients to other PG Calc products and services as appropriate.
  • Resolve client questions/requests or transfer clients to staff with expertise to assist.

Manage assigned GA/ESA client accounts and supervise supporting associates (65%).

  • Make initial contact with all newly assigned clients and asset managers
  • Cooperate with GA associates to ensure all data entries are complete and accurate
  • Work with associate to provide clients with periodic calculations and reports (i.e. FASB, state reserve report, endowment monthly/quarterly reports).
  • Annually, with associate, obtain CRUT valuations and compute new payment amounts.
  • Complete analysis for estimated PIF distributions.
  • For clients with tax returns, work with gift admin associate to ensure PIF and CRT tax information is provided to the tax accountant and that K-1s and returns are sent to clients in a timely fashion.
  • Research all questions and obtain all missing information for tax accountant.
  • Oversee the review of tax returns received from accountant.

Ensure accuracy of client data 15%

  • Review entry of new client information in charity and organization setup modules.
  • Review data entry of new gifts, terminations and data changes following standard procedures and adhering to deadlines.
  • Review cash trac reports prepared by associate.
  • Review and reconcile quarterly PIF & net-income CRT income analysis prepared by GA associate.
  • Review assigned client quarterly fees and confirm quarterly invoice preparation accuracy.

Establish and maintain effective communication 5%

  • Communicate clearly and regularly with clients and other gift administration staff.
  • Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  • Participate in prospective sales opportunities.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. 5%

  • Participate in testing PG Calc software updates prior to release.
  • Ensure that work area is secure.
  • Abide by PG Calc data privacy protocol.
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.
Requirements
  • Experienced relationship manager
  • Strong communication and financial operations skills
  • Background in gift administration, finance, or accounting required
  • Exposure to endowments or gift planning preferred
  • Four-year college degree and 3 years of related experience or high school diploma and 10 years of relevant experience required

Reliable Internet Connection: High-speed internet is required to support video conferencing, file sharing, and other work-related technology needs.

Hybrid Work Commitment: Must be able to reliably commute to the office 2 days per week, and meet in-person collaboration requirements as needed.
