Description

We are seeking an ambitious, client-focused Account Manager to join our growing sales organization. This role is responsible for managing direct client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving both account growth and long-term retention. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong business acumen who excels at building trust, aligning client initiatives with company goals, and navigating evolving customer needs and market trends. Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Satisfaction -35%

  • Champion the client needs for key clients across the organization.
  • Align client goals with company objectives to deliver measurable value and outcomes.
  • Lead client escalations with confidence and clarity, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Listen closely to client needs and deliver tailored, impactful solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape business strategies and ensure client-centric operations.
  • Partner across departments—sales, marketing, product, and service—to create seamless client experiences.
  • Own and address client concerns and resolve complex challenges.
  • Anticipate potential risks and implement proactive solutions.

Client Retention – 35%

  • Build and maintain deep, lasting relationships with high-value clients.
  • Regularly showcase results through engaging reports and client meetings.
  • Promote referral incentives and drive client engagement through clear, consistent communication.
  • Hit or exceed client retention goals by delivering exceptional service and value.

Account Growth – 20%

  • Uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with client needs and business goals.
  • Lead conversations around premium services and pricing enhancements with confidence.
  • Ensure pricing models stay relevant, competitive, and client-focused.
  • Share insights and feedback to help improve offerings and enhance team performance.

Client Onboarding – 10%

  • Guide clients through a smooth and thorough onboarding process.
  • Ensure all discovery, documentation, and funding steps are completed with precision.
  • Ensure accounts are funded.
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role, with a strong track record of leading teams and managing client portfolios.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement client-centric initiatives.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot to manage client data, track sales pipelines, and support account activities.
