Description

Are you a strategic, impact-driven product leader with deep experience in enterprise fintech? Fund OS is on a mission to transform the infrastructure behind donor-advised funds (DAFs), and we’re looking for someone to take the lead. This is a rare opportunity to bring a 0?1 platform to life—co-developing with blue-chip pilot partners and building the systems that will power the next generation of philanthropic giving.

As the Product Manager for Fund OS, you’ll be at the center of backend innovation, enterprise integrations, and operational tooling. You’ll work cross-functionally to define the roadmap, guide execution, and ship solutions that replace outdated systems with scalable, secure, and intuitive software. Your work will directly impact how major DAF sponsors manage billions in charitable capital.

If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love building from scratch, and are driven by the challenge of solving complex technical and regulatory problems, this is your chance to lead a category-defining product with real-world impact—and scale it to the largest philanthropic institutions in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Platform & Feature Leadership (70%)

  • Own the vision and execution for core platform capabilities—from backend architecture to intuitive admin tools that power operational scale, compliance, and client service excellence.
  • Drive the design and delivery of critical features, including real-time API integrations, data sync with enterprise systems, and enhanced contribution and granting workflows (like DAF-to-DAF transfers).
  • Establish foundational platform patterns and technical standards that will shape the product for years to come—setting the stage for long-term scalability and reuse across clients.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and implementation teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and enterprise-grade features.
  • Navigate and align shared dependencies with other product lines (like our Private Label DAF infrastructure) to deliver a cohesive experience and unified backend architecture.

Customer Insight & Strategic Collaboration (30%)

  • Partner directly with enterprise clients, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, roadmap, and long-term vision.
  • Build a deep understanding of the workflows, pain points, and goals of DAF sponsors and administrators—translating insights into impactful product decisions.
  • Lead strategic conversations through co-design sessions, client workshops, and stakeholder presentations to ensure alignment and momentum.
  • Leverage user research, product analytics, and market signals to drive ongoing platform optimization and high-confidence prioritization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product leadership or equivalent experience working with complex SaaS platforms, fintech infrastructure, or enterprise-grade software systems.
  • Proven track record of bringing 0?1 products to life—whether through platform architecture, internal tooling, or deep enterprise integrations (e.g., payments, trading, compliance).
  • Hands-on experience deploying software in high-stakes, process-driven environments like banks, financial institutions, or regulated industries.
  • Sharp ability to distill complex operational workflows into focused, high-impact product solutions that simplify without oversimplifying.
  • Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder ecosystems—balancing the needs of internal teams and enterprise clients across both front- and back-end systems.
  • Demonstrated success owning backend-heavy, integration-rich products that still deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator—skilled at aligning diverse stakeholders and driving cross-functional momentum.
  • Highly effective at juggling multiple priorities, making fast, data-informed decisions, and thriving in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
