Description

The Marketing Coordinator will be a versatile member of the marketing team, contributing to a wide range of initiatives, from social media management and content creation to event planning and other evolving projects. This role requires a highly adaptable, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with a creative, results-driven mindset, ensuring smooth execution of campaigns while staying responsive to shifting priorities. Whether handling day-to-day tasks or contributing to larger strategic goals, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Foundation Source’s mission to connect with its target audiences.

In addition to executing marketing strategies, the Marketing Coordinator will stay up to date with industry trends, participate in brainstorming sessions, and foster cross-departmental relationships to enhance the company’s marketing efforts. A successful candidate will be a proactive, flexible team player who can navigate both structured and dynamic aspects of the role, bringing expertise in core marketing areas while maintaining the energy and creativity to tackle new challenges as they arise.

Content, Email & Social (40%)

  • Assist in developing and executing various marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and attention to detail.
  • Manage social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube), creating engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Draft and schedule posts via HubSpot, ensuring content is timely and accurate.
  • Monitor social feeds for industry, employee, and company content, engaging with relevant posts and fostering online discussions.
  • Encourage employee advocacy through LinkedIn, Slack, and social media kits, promoting collaboration and internal engagement.
  • Track trending news and third-party content to share on social channels, staying current with emerging topics.
  • Identify new tools, trends, and best practices to enhance social media efforts across platforms.
  • Review competitors’ social presence quarterly, providing insights to refine strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR, Client Services, and the DEI Committee to share relevant content and align messaging.
  • Create emails, newsletters, and blog posts as needed, ensuring clear, on-brand communication.
  • Brainstorm and assist in the creation of new content, including interactive quizzes and blog ideas.

Event Management (40%)

  • Assist in planning and executing both in-person and virtual events, including conferences and sponsored sessions.
  • Complete exhibitor kits, order forms, and ensure timely submission of all materials.
  • Coordinate with teams to identify event needs and create event playbooks with key information.
  • Manage logistics for event materials, including coordinating shipping, furniture, and technology orders.
  • Track invoices and record event expenses, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Support Salesforce campaigns and assist with regional and national webinars in Zoom.
  • Help manage webinars on event days, handling questions and chat boxes, and promoting content post-webinar (e.g., recording, YouTube uploads, and social media).

Miscellaneous (20%)

  • Provide support on ad-hoc tasks and assist the team as needs arise.
Requirements
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and openness to feedback and mentoring.
  • Event management and/or campaign planning experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications.
  • Dedicated Workspace: Must have a home office or workspace that is free of distractions and interruptions to ensure productivity and focus during work hours.
  • Reliable Internet Connection: High-speed internet is required to support video conferencing, file sharing, and other work-related technology needs.
