Description

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and closing large-scale new enterprise clients, as well as identifying opportunities within our existing enterprise client base. You will work closely with key decision-makers, build relationships, and offer tailored solutions to address business challenges. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of our product, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage long sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development (75%)

  • Take the lead in identifying large-scale new enterprise opportunities within assigned territory or vertical.
  • Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with with senior executives, key decision-makers, and influencers within prospective organizations.
  • Understand the client’s business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and align our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Deliver compelling product demos and pitches, tailoring our solutions to meet prospects needs.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle, managing intricate negotiations from initiatl to close high-value deals.
  • Manage complex sales cycles from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.
  • Grow sales revenue and hit corporate goals
  • Position value proposition, services, technology and fees to close sales
  • Work closely with Business Development Representatives on coordinated lead generation efforts and actively work qualified leads
  • Grow your knowledge of the philanthropic sector and private, non-operating foundations
  • Build and maintain positive, trust-based relations with influencers, stakeholders, and decision-makers to cultivate referrals
  • Participate in events, conferences, speaking engagements, webinars, presentations, networking gatherings, or education sessions to expand referral sources

Account Management and Development (20%)

  • Elevate our existing relationships, uncovering opportunities within current client base
  • Strategically manage accounts to ensure continuous growth

Sales Planning and Operations (5%)

  • Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Use Salesforce.com and to record all sales activity and manage pipeline
  • Generate proposals and contracts to close sales
  • Manage sales cadence for a high-performance practice that effectively progresses opportunities through the sales funnel stages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer success, and product to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product offerings.

Travel:

Ready to travel up to 40% domestically to keep the pulse on market trends and connect with clients face-to-face.

Requirements
  • Successful sales leadership with at least 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in SaaS, technology, or similar industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong network and experience in working with C-suite and senior executives at large organizations.
  • A persuasive communicator, adept at delivering executive level sales presentations
  • High proficiency in managing long sales cycles, complex deal structures and negotiations.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales pipelines and activities.
  • Ability to travel without restrictions 40% of the time
  • Experience selling enterprise software solutions
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • A team player attitude, eager to synchronize with internal teams to refine sales and business strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
