Overview

Domify is an enterprise AI copilot solution that helps Wealth Management firms and their Financial Advisors meet the challenges of regulatory oversight WHILE serving clients better, faster and cheaper. We help firms leverage their unstructured data and existing technologies to provide consideration, explanations, and documentation of investment recommendations. Domify will make the jobs of financial advisors and compliance teams easier and more effective, creating significant productivity improvements and scale, driving revenue growth and creating competitive advantage for our clients as well as an AI and innovation story.

Domify is seeking the right technical leader to implement and lead the AI and product build in partnership with the CEO and Head of Product. In this role you will build our product, leveraging AI and new technologies, oversee a great engineering team, and participate directly in product design and go-to-market (GTM) endeavors.

The Domify team is a motivated and diverse group of leaders and advisors from the Wealth and Fintech industries and has the backing of DVx Ventures and Vestigo Ventures. You will report to the CEO, be a key member of our leadership team and a stakeholder in the firm's successful path to market and value creation.

Location: Remote but must collaborate New York office ~50%

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecting the Future: Help shape the product’s design, reference architecture, user experience and key features. In doing so, you will make pivotal decisions regarding the data model, tools, and engineering processes to build the product. Your leadership will drive the product and technical direction that transforms our vision into reality.
2. Build the Team: You will play a vital role in identifying, recruiting, and managing a team of exceptional product, engineering, and AI talent to deliver on our vision.
3. Hands-On Impact: Dive into the code and actively develop using agile methodologies to pivot our products as new needs emerge, keeping them progressive and functional.
4. Rapid Innovation: Lead the creation of prototypes, iterating swiftly to discover product-market fit and capture customer needs.
5. Business Collaboration: Present new solutions to clients alongside your colleagues, showcasing your technical prowess as a persuasive force.
6. Nurturing Products: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Guarantee scalability, reliability, and innovation throughout development and troubleshooting.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc); a PhD is a plus.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in technical leadership and new product creation, ideally within startups.
• A successful track record in recruiting and leading motivated teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, especially in the AI domain.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML models, deep learning, natural language processing, or related tech.
• Experience in API design/integrated products, data management, and analytics systems such as Datadog.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Agile or Scrum expertise in software development methodologies.
