About Cork Cyber

Cork Cyber is building the operating system that aligns operational security performance with financial continuity outcomes. Our platform delivers unified risk intelligence, automation, and financial protection for MSPs and their SMB clients.

The Partner Success Manager ensures long-term retention, expansion, and measurable partner value.

Who we are: Cork is a disruptive, early-stage startup operating at the convergence of three major technology waves: cybersecurity, insurtech/fintech, and artificial intelligence. Our small, seasoned team is backed by entrepreneurs and industry experts including:

  • Jon McNeill, a 5-time exited fintech entrepreneur & former #2 at Tesla and Lyft
  • Austin McChord, who bootstrapped his cybersecurity company to a $6.2 billion exit in 2022
  • Dan Candee, ex-AWS and Dell and a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of building hyper-growth international organizations
Position Overview

The Partner Success Manager owns a defined book of business and is responsible for retention, expansion, and overall partner health. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role operates at the intersection of customer success and revenue growth. We are looking for a highly-motivated self-starter, who can work autonomously to build, lead and develop relationships with our partners/customers.

The Partner Success Manager serves as the primary post-sale contact for assigned partners, ensuring successful onboarding, strong adoption, structured business reviews, and identification of cross-sell and upsell opportunities. This role also provides first-line coordination for Tier 1-level support needs, ensuring timely resolution and a strong partner experience.

Success in this role is measured by net revenue retention, gross retention, expansion revenue, and partner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Partner Success Manager manages the full post-sale lifecycle for assigned MSP partners. From onboarding through renewal, this role ensures partners understand the platform, achieve adoption milestones, and realize measurable business value.

The role leads onboarding processes, guiding partners through implementation, enablement, and early value realization. Ongoing engagement includes structured check-ins and Quarterly Business Reviews focused on performance metrics, risk posture improvements, and business outcomes.

Expansion is a core responsibility. The Partner Success Manager identifies opportunities for cross-sell and upsell within their book of business and works to convert those opportunities into incremental revenue. This includes introducing new capabilities, driving feature adoption, and collaborating with Sales leadership where appropriate.

The role acts as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries and Tier 1-type support coordination. While not a technical support engineer, the Partner Success Manager ensures issues are addressed, escalated, and resolved efficiently.

Internally, the role collaborates closely with Sales, Product, and Support to advocate for partner needs, communicate feedback, and align on retention and growth strategy. Accurate CRM documentation, renewal forecasting, and account planning are essential expectations. This is a quota carrying role.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or post-sale revenue roles within a SaaS or MSP-focused environment
  • Direct experience working with or supporting Managed Service Providers (MSP/MSSP)
  • Experience managing a defined book of business with responsibility for retention and renewal
  • Proven track record of driving net revenue retention through cross-sell and upsell initiatives
  • Strong understanding of MSP business models, recurring revenue structures, and client lifecycle management
  • Experience conducting structured Quarterly Business Reviews with operational and executive stakeholders
  • Experience leading onboarding processes and driving measurable adoption milestones
  • Strong organizational skills with disciplined CRM documentation and renewal forecasting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within cybersecurity, risk management, or IT operations platforms
  • Familiarity with MSP tools such as RMM, PSA, or security stack integrations
  • Experience working in a revenue-aligned Customer Success organization
  • Exposure to Tier 1 support coordination or customer-facing technical environments
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS company
  • Experience with channel distribution (Pax8, Sherweb, etc)
