Vestmark is seeking a smart, dedicated User Experience professional who is ready to shape the future of one of the country's fastest-growing FinTech SaaS platforms. Eliminating clicks is exciting to you. You enjoy learning about new markets and diverse user types. You're well-versed in existing trends, tools and best practices but consider them a baseline to leverage and improve upon. You like to explore possibilities and find the best solution based on evidence and testing. You champion other people's great ideas as passionately as you do your own. You are accurate, focused and detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture.

The VP, User Experience and Design will report to EVP, Products and collaborate directly with product strategists and business stakeholders, functioning as a key leader in the overall product organization.


  • Help drive product strategy and ensure that our users are represented in a design-led approach to product development.
  • Define and create solutions at all phases of the process from initial need definition through ideation and development
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform and validate designs
  • Create mockups, storyboards, and rapid prototypes as both wireframes and high fidelity designs
  • Participate in interviews with end-users
  • Design component-based user interfaces for enterprise applications in finance
  • Present work to stakeholders and developers at various stages to show workflows / interactions
  • Articulate and demonstrate solutions for various scenarios and user types considering both user actions and user skill (from novice to expert)
  • Craft simple, elegant interaction solutions to complex business problems
  • Create and extend user interface design patterns
  • Build and maintain design kits or style guides for visual design and typography
  • Design responsive web based applications


  • At least 8-10+ years of experience setting UX vision and innovation
  • Expert level experience as an experience design leader for web and mobile interfaces
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding analytics and presenting complex data, designing dashboards, data visualization and interactive solutions to assess, analyze, manipulate and present data in user-friendly formats
  • Expert knowledge of Figma and Miro
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of key business metrics and data and how it connects to design
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative work environment
  • Ability to evolve design ideas based on feedback
  • Current and emerging interaction paradigms
  • How to adapt large-scale enterprise applications to mobile platforms
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, complexity, and has a passion for challenges
  • User research methods including contextual observation, A/B tests, surveys and usability testing
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor, but grow to manage a design team
  • Knowledge of the investing, trading and wealth management advice industry
